Devon Street Urban Park – Feedback & Design Session
This event at ‘The Arc, Glasgow University Campus’, was planned for this 6th November 2024 but is currently postponed.
Skateboarders, BMX riders and other park users – this will be your chance to voice your thoughts, share your ideas and feedback on the Devon Street Urban Park proposals.
When a new date is scheduled, please attend the Devon Street Urban Park Feedback & Design Session, meet the design team working on the Devon Street Urban Park proposals in person and hear more about the project.
The design team recently delivered the new Riverside Museum skate spot, realised in partnership with the Museum and Glasgow City Council. The ‘Transport’ spot is a prime example of the integated design concept proposed for Devon Street Urban Park, with skate features embedded within the built urban environment, adding social and cultural value to spaces and places within the city.
We are keenly aware that everyone has a preference for certain styles of tricks, terrain and the type of features they are interested in skating & riding.
What sort of landscape, obstacles and sculptural features would you like to see included at Devon Street?
